Restoring Spiritual Truth

Will You Keep the Feasts of Ishtar and Babylon, or the Biblical Holy Days?

The Biblical Spring Holy Day Season is here!  I’m not talking about “Easter” here, which is derived from the name of the Pagan god Ishtar, and was inserted into Christianity by the secular leader of the Roman Empire (in an attempt to usurp the authority of the true God).

The Spring Biblical Feasts I’m referring to are Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread!  Both Holy Day Festivals begun in the Old Testament, actually pointed to the Future Lamb of God, Yeshua, Jesus Christ, and the Unleavened Bread of Life He provides. See Leviticus 23 where Yahweh summarizes His Feasts/Holy Days given to the People He chose, the Nation of Israel.

First of all, let me say that I find no precedence within the Bible giving any secular leader of Rome authority to change what we believe are the inspired Words of the Most High God from the Bible, regarding any Holy observances. Please take a look at what you observe today and see if it’s actually Biblical, because many pagan and Babylonian practices have been added into our traditions. Referring to Babylon, the scriptures warn us to come out of her lest we partake of her sins and plagues. See Revelations 18:4.

Actually, according to the Bible,  the 1st Day of the First month (Abib) of the Holy (Biblical) New Year–falls on March 30st of the widely used Gregorian calendar.

Passover Evening, April 12th at Evening: We will be commemorating the Last Supper of Bread and wine, and foot washing ceremony of Jesus and His Disciples, before he was betrayed and crucified the following day.

First Day of Unleavened Bread: begins April 13th, beginning at sundown the evening before.  Leavened products are to be discarded from the house, and Unleaved bread is eaten 7 days during this Festival, with the 1st and last Days being Holy Days (Sabbath rest and convocation).

We will be celebrating the evening of April 12th as “The Night to be Much Observed” when the children of Israel left out of bondage under Egypt. This is symbolic for us as believers today, because we come out from under bondage though the blood of our Sacrificial Lamb, Jesus Christ.

Last Day of Unleavened Bread: April 19th (Also a Sabbath rest day, and day for Holy Convocation).
